Light
a key factor of photography, becomes here the main subject.
...Artificial, natural, direct, indirect; the artist explores all of its facets and invites the viewer to reconsider its purpose and thus role within the image. Light is indeed an agent that stimulates sight and makes objects visible. But here the illuminated objects are relayed to the mere purpose of a support or even sometimes intentionally left in the dark. Instead the artist places the light and its radiation at the center of the image, taking over entire prominence of the composition.
